About Canberra Homeless Connect
Canberra Homeless Connect provides connection to services for people in the Canberra community who are at-risk of or currently experiencing homelessness.
Held during Anti-Poverty Week, Canberra Homeless Connect 2023 is a one-day event in the heart of Canberra CBD. There will be stalls and representatives from a number of local community organisations who all share a common goal of making their services available and accessible to members of the Canberra community who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
Assisting with individual needs, Canberra Homeless Connect 2023 has stalls providing access to services including:
- Phones and data cards
- Dental care items
- Health services
- Art workshops
- Alcohol and other drug support
- Financial counselling
- Legal help
- Toiletries and sanitary products
- Laundry services
- Food and drinks
- Clothing
- Haircuts
- Makeup
- Pet food and care
- And many more

When: Thursday, 19 October from 11am to 3pm
Where: Canberra City Uniting Church (home of the EMC)
This is a free event, no registrations are required, just turn up on the day.
